The one palette for the holiday season

Holiday posts keep coming! I'm one of your typical metallic eyes kinda gal when it comes to the holidays, specially gold or copper.
A couple of months ago I picked up this little beauty, and like many makeup items, it went to the back of the makeup drawer, but as December rolled around, and Christmas parties with it, I couldn't stop using it. Last week, at my office Christmas party, I did a smokey eye with this palette and people (female, mostly of course) complemented my eye makeup all night.
I've professed my love for L'oreal eye shadows before, but honestly they are the best quality and pigmentation eyeshadow out there, at a drugstore pricing, that is. The palette is Smokey E1 in Beige Trench quad.

There are four shades, all shimmery, a bronze and taupy grey and two light colors, one white and one almost vanilla like. If this palette had one less light color and one matte brown in it (for the crease) it would be perfect.
 If you're looking for a new holiday appropriate palette, don't doubt to pick this one up. You won't regret it.
