Look beauty haul!

Lips slick in raspberry, lip smoothie, mini makeover in rock chick, mattify powder and cheeky trio in melba.

Look beauty was having a 50% off and world wide free shipping offer a few weeks ago, so, I just had to buy a few things...
to be honest, the main thing that drove me to really buying was the packaging of the products, they are sooooo cute!.
Lips slick: Its a creamy and very pigmented lip gloss, love the shade, it's like a fuchsia pink with a hint of dark berry color.
Lip smoothie: lip scrub gel, smells like mint and leaves your lips super soft.

Mini makeover palette in Rock Chick: this palette has 8 eyeshadows, six shimmery and 2 matte (the last one on the first line, and the first one on the second line) four lip colors and a blush all matte.
Mattify me powder: Lovely powder, I've been using it every day to set my concealer and I love it! side note: mine fell on the ground and it didn't break one beat, also it has a huge mirror inside.
Cheeky trio in Melba: a bronzer, blusher and highlighter trio, the bronzer is matte and a bit powdery, and the blusher and highlighter are shimmery.

Swatches: Lip slick in Rasperry, cheeky trio bronzer, blusher and highlighter

I'm really happy with my first "Look Beauty" experience, have you tried any of this products? what's your favourite?

Capsule makeup bag

I try not to carry my entire makeup collection with me every day, so for my everyday makeup look, I try to keep it simple and small. I switch certain items depending on an specific look, but otherwise, this is with me pretty much every day.
1. MUA power pout in Crazy in love. This lip crayon in perfect for a dark yet moisturising lip.
2. eyeliner brush. Depending on the look I'm going for, I like to switch between gel and liquid linner.
3. Rimmel Stay matte foundation. I love this foundation, I pair it with my Super Natural Control by maybelline powder, but the lid broke, so I had to take it out of my bag.
4. Maybelline eye studio gel liner in Blackest Black. I layed off this liner for a while until I came upon a blog post on how to "freshen up" gel/cream products, a little bit of rubbing alcohol and this was as good as new.
5. Natural blush. This is one of my favourite blushers, it's super pigmented and matte, and the color is lovely.
5. Maybelline Color Tattoo in though as taupe. this is my every day eye color.
7. Don't really know the brad, it came in a gift set, but this colors are just perfect for a touch of color on the lid and they are super pigmented and tiny, so it's perfect size for the makeup bag.
8. Revlon lip butter in Peach Parfait. peachy nude color, and super moisturising.
9. Emolan waterproof liquid liner. This is my favourite ever liquid eyeliner. and if you are clumsy like me, this is perfect, because it dries quite quickly.
10. L'oreal caresse wet shine stain in eve.
11. MUA lipstick in shade 11. a darker nude color, perfect for a "no-makeup" makeup look.
12. Rimmel lash accelerator mascara. This is my current favourite mascara, for me it's the best drugstore mascara, better than the falsies or any other, it separates and elongates my lashes like crazy, and it's supposed to have a lash grown complex, but I haven't noticed a difference.
13. Rimmel Match perfection concealer. Really like this concealer, it´s quite sheer, so if you have really bad under eye circles I wouldn't recommend it, but if you just like to illuminate your under eyes, this is perfect.
14. Blue Q. air mail pouch.
Missing: mattifing powder (the lid broke) and Models Own neon brush set (they were dirty so I took them out).

What's on your makeup bag? What item can't you leave the house without?

Review: L'oreal lip stain

Lately I've been a sucker for a lip stain (I personally blame Rimmel and its apocalips), give me a product that I hardly have to touch up during the day and I'm sold.

I first bought one of this L'oreal caresse wet lip stain (long name) on a wimp, I'd been reading a lot of reviews and I wanted to know what the hype was about, well let me tell you, the hype is well deserved.
As many of you know this are supposed to be a dupe for the YSL ones, but a lot (LOT) cheaper, they  work pretty much the same way, you are supposed to apply three coats (giving it a sec to dry in between) and you really get the color you see on the tube. I haven't really done the three coat thing, I gave it two coats and I got a pretty strong color.

L-R: Milady, Eve and Princess

I really like three things about this, first the packaging, I have to congratulate L'oreal on its new range and packaging, I so doesn't look drugstore but a lot more high end. Second, the shades, they have a lot of different shades, from pale nudes (both peachy and pink), pinks, plums, purples, reds both pastely and strong (when usually with stains you get about four or five shades). and third the finish, when you first apply them, they look like a gloss (which, unlike other stains, stays for a long time) and after you've rubbed you lips, eaten or drunk and the gloss rubs off, your lips get stained (when I swached them on my arm to take the picture above, the stain stayed for a long, long time).

This three shades are Milady (a dark plumy color that you can work sheer or build it up), Eve (a light pinky lilacky color which comes sheer on the first coat but after the second you get the color out) and princess (a peachy orange perfect for summer).

Have you tried any of this or any other stain? what's you favourite one?

My FashionistA palette

A few days ago, I got a little MUA/FashionistA haul in the mail. Among several products, there were these lovely eye shadows, blusher and bronzer.
The colors are super pigmented and long lasting, I'm particularly inlove with the blush, a rosy mate color that looks fantastic and quite natural.

L-R: Eyeshadow in Nude Glimmer; Eyeshadow in Chocolate Dream; Blusher in Butterscotch and Bronzer in Dubai
both the eye shadows and the bronzer are a shimmery, the bronzer is a bit orange for my taste, but I can work with it blending it a little.
All these shades are £1,65 in the MUA web site, and the empty palette is £4, but they are having a special offer in which if you get four eye shadows, blushers or bronzers and the empty palette the whole combo is
£7.
What I really like about this products is the fact that they come in an individual container and you can switch the shades according to what look you're going for. This palette is perfect for poping into your makeup bag and off you go.

Have you tried any MUA or FashionistA products? Which is your favourite?
